As your foes gather for another assault on the beacon, you can spot the torchlights of Gálmód’s troops massing amid the hills below.

When Revealed: Place progress on Defend the Beacon (bypassing the active location) until it has X progress on it, where X is equal to 2, plus 1. Shuffle the encounter discard pile into the encounter deck. Each player discards cards from the top of the encounter deck until an enemy is discarded and adds that enemy to the staging area.

Time 3.

Forced: At the end of the round, deal 1 damage to Erelas Beacon (2 damage instead if there are 3 or more players in the game). Then, if there are no time counters on this stage, immediately advance to stage 3.

Forced: After Defend the Beacon is chosen as the current quest, reveal an encounter card.

If the Dunlendings control the beacon, the players lose the game.
