Although Eroc is impressed that you tracked him down, the Dwarf Lord isn't sure you are worth his time. He challenges you to a battle: a battle of hunting and killing enemies.

When Revealed: Place Eroc in his own play area (see insert). Shuffle the encounter discard pile into the encounter deck and reveal 1 encounter card per player.

Response: When the players destroy an enemy, place 1 resource on Battling the Dwarf.

Forced: After resolving all enemy attacks, Eroc attacks the enemy with the lowest in play (even in the staging area). If this attack destroys an enemy, remove 1 resource from this stage.

When there are X resources on Battling the Dwarf, advance to stage 3. X is 3 times the number of players in the game.
